Director of National Partnerships

Emilie Washer (She/Her/Hers), 2L at Lewis & Clark Law School

Emilie is from Chicago and attends Lewis & Clark Law School. She graduated from Purdue University with a major in Aquatic Sciences and a minor in Environmental Politics and Policy. During her undergrad, she was a research assistant in the Human Dimensions Lab where she worked on projects that focused on the socioeconomic impacts that Improved Seed Technologies (IST) have on Global South countries. She also volunteered for the Nature Conservancy and assisted in developing and and populating a catalog of state level environmental policies for the Mississippi River Basin.

 

As an Asian American Adoptee and a first generation law student, Emilie is passionate about increasing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the legal field and providing better access to legal resources and opportunities for first generation law students. Her favorite hobbies include photography, baking, taking walks with her dog, and making Spotify playlists for her friends.
