Michelle Nguyen (She/Her/Hers), 1L at University of Texas School of Law
Michelle Nguyen is a 1L at the University of Texas School of Law. Michelle graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2019 with a B.S. in Youth Advocacy and Educational Studies and a minor in Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies. Upon graduating from TCU, Michelle fulfilled a Fulbright grant in Salatiga, Indonesia, where she taught English to high school students. Prior to law school, Michelle held various roles, most recently serving as a Policy Fellow through the Urban Leaders Fellowship (ULF), where she created and advocated for equitable educational policies.
Michelle has a strong belief in the power of investing in people and plans to use her time in law school and future in the legal field to find ways to transform communities and foster justice. Outside of law school, Michelle fills her time with cooking with friends and family, thrifting, and reading books at some local park or coffee shop.
