Thurgood Marshall Fellowship

This year Bingham McCutchen LLP is offering the Thurgood Marshall Fellowship, a $25,000 award honoring the first African-American Justice to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court and a man who had a profound effect on the civil rights movement of the 20th century.

Bingham McCutchen LLP expects to award two fellowships to the class of 2014, one in Bingham's D.C. office and the other in one of their Southern California offices. Recipients will receive a paid summer associate position and a $25,000 fellowship to be distributed as follows: $15,000 applied to the fellow's third-year law school tuition after successful completion of our summer program (including receipt of an offer of permanent employment), and $10,000 upon commencement of fulltime employment at the firm.
