NAPALSA Programs

As an organization committed to advancing the interests of law students in the Asian Pacific American community, NAPALSA has developed several programs devoted to this cause. The Voices Project provides a forum for law students to share their opinions on legal issues, community issues, and current events with each other where they otherwise would not have such an opportunity. In addition, each year at our National Conference, NAPALSA recognizes and awards an affiliate chapter $500 for its outstanding commitment and contributions in advancing the interests of Asian Pacific American law students in its community as Affiliate of the Year. NAPALSA also recognizes four exceptional members with a $1500 award each for each student's individual effort and demonstrated commitment to advancing the interests of Asian Pacific American law students in their community as Student of the Year.

Furthermore, as an organization formed through the efforts of local grassroot members, NAPALSA recognizes the importance of grassroots mobilization. As such, NAPALSA created a Grassroots program and takes the initiative to appeal to law schools across the nation to demonstrate their support for Asian Pacific American judicial nominees and candidates in the hopes of increasing our presence on the bench and in Congress.
